On April 27, the "2023 China Institute of Electronics Science and Technology Awards Ceremony" was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang. The project entitled "High-Capacity Reconfigurable Optical Interconnect Technology and Application for High-Performance Data Centers," jointly submitted by our institute's faculty members along with Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and other research institutions, was awarded the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress at the 2023 China Institute of Electronics Science and Technology Awards.
The "China Institute of Electronics Science and Technology Award" was established in 2003 primarily to recognize collectives and individuals who have achieved outstanding success or made significant contributions in electronic information science research, technological innovation and development, application of scientific and technological achievements, and industrialization. After review by the Science and Technology Awards Committee of the China Institute of Electronics, public announcement of the results, and approval by the President of the China Institute of Electronics, the 2023 awards included two Innovation Team Awards, 37 First Prize projects, 59 Second Prize projects, and 51 Third Prize projects.
