摘要：“二十一世紀(jì)是生物科學(xué)的世紀(jì)”。在分析國內(nèi)外生物視覺信息研究現(xiàn)狀的基礎(chǔ)上，著重介紹課題組在生物視覺計(jì)算與目標(biāo)識別研究方向上相關(guān)研究成果。
報告人簡介：胡德文現(xiàn)任中國人民解放軍國防科技大學(xué)機(jī)電工程與自動化學(xué)院教授，博士生導(dǎo)師。2002年獲“國家杰出青年科學(xué)基金”，國家教育部第四屆“高校青年教師獎”，當(dāng)選國家教育部“全國高校優(yōu)秀骨干教師”。2004年入選國家人事部等7部委首屆“新世紀(jì)百千萬人才工程國家級人選”，全軍優(yōu)秀專業(yè)技術(shù)人才一級崗位。2006年獲國務(wù)院政府特殊津貼。2008年擔(dān)任教育部長江學(xué)者特聘教授。2012年獲國家自然科學(xué)獎二等獎。主要研究領(lǐng)域包括系統(tǒng)辨識、神經(jīng)網(wǎng)絡(luò)、圖象信號處理、腦功能成像分析等。
二、報告題目：Application-driven Large Scale Graph Data Mining

摘要：As graph data is ubiquitous and diverse, and can be used to naturally model complex relationships among objects, graph data mining has become an important tool in many applications and has attracted a lot of attention in the database community. Especially, the application-driven graph data mining has shown high utility, while in the meantime it also poses some unique challenges. In recent years we have explored some interesting research problems in this field and I would like to share some research results in this talk. Specifically, some of our recent research on coherent subgraph mining over large dense graph databases, graph generator pattern discovery for classification, graph modeling for personalized recommendation and entity linking, and community detection in large network data will be introduced, and some typical applications of the developed graph mining algorithms will be also illustrated, including stock market data analysis, gene function annotation, image classification, concept disambiguation, ontology population, and personalized recommender systems, and so on.
報告人簡介：王建勇，清華大學(xué)計(jì)算機(jī)系教授，博士生導(dǎo)師。自1999年4月從中國科學(xué)院計(jì)算所獲得博士學(xué)位以來先后在北京大學(xué)計(jì)算機(jī)系任講師、在加拿大西蒙弗雷澤大學(xué)、美國伊利諾伊大學(xué)及明尼蘇達(dá)大學(xué)進(jìn)行訪問研究。主要研究方向?yàn)閿?shù)據(jù)挖掘及Web數(shù)據(jù)管理。在國際三大數(shù)據(jù)挖掘會議（ACM SIGKDD、IEEE ICDM和SIAM SDM）、國際三大數(shù)據(jù)庫會議（ACM SIGMOD、VLDB和IEEE ICDE）、國際人工智能、萬維網(wǎng)及信息檢索重要會議IJCAI、WWW、CIKM、WSDM以及國際一流期刊ACM TODS、ACM TKDD、ACM JDIQ、VLDB J.、DMKD和IEEE TKDE上發(fā)表研究論文60多篇。據(jù)Google scholar的索引統(tǒng)計(jì)，所發(fā)表論文已被累計(jì)引用超過5500次，單篇最高引用超過950次。擔(dān)任ACM SIGKDD’12、IEEE ICDM’10&11&13、SIAM SDM’10&11&13、ACM CIKM’13的資深程序委員會委員（Senior PC）或程序委員會副主席（Vice PC Chair）、以及國際知識工程頂級期刊IEEE TKDE的編委（Associate editor）。入選2007年度教育部“新世紀(jì)優(yōu)秀人才”支持計(jì)劃。
