報(bào)告簡(jiǎn)介：With the advances in software defined networking, more researchers are focusing on using the SDN paradigm to enhance the management and configuration capability in the wireless sensor networks, the success of which introduced the era of Internet of Things. The talk looks at the technical challenges and opportunities posed by the Internet of Things, and describe how the SDN paradigm can be used to provide solution for such. For example, the success of cloud computing heavily relies on the uninterrupted services provided by server clusters. The largest known Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack consumes 325Gbps in 2014, a 3.25 increase over the same thing in 2012. The detection and response time for such attack keeps around 1~12 hours, resulting in much more significant societal and financial damages. An example of real-time detecting and mitigating DDoS in a SDN setup demonstrated the potential of SDN.
